Raheem Sterling replaces Philippe Coutinho in the only change to Liverpool's line-up for the Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday.

The 19-year-old is rewarded for rising from the substitutes' bench to score against Southampton 15 days ago with a starting berth at Old Trafford.

Otherwise, Brendan Rodgers' XI is unchanged from the side which ran out 3-0 winners against the Saints on the opening day of the month.

There is a double boost for the squad, though, with the return of midfielder Lucas Leiva and defender Mamadou Sakho to the 18-man group.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Flanagan, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge.

Substitutes: Jones, Sakho, Cissokho, Lucas, Coutinho, Moses, Aspas.
