Mamadou Sakho returned to All Saints Primary School in Anfield on Wednesday to continue his assistance with football coaching and French lessons which he started last year.

He also joined in with a game of dodgeball in the school hall, which was part of a scheduled PE lesson.

Mamadou, who visits the school once a month as part of his ambassadorial role with the Liverpool FC Foundation, is actively involved in assisting Foundation community coaches, who deliver football sessions at the school each week and helping pupils with the verbal speaking and reading elements of their French Language studies.

The 23-year-old French International said: "This is my third visit to All Saints Primary School and I am really enjoying building a rapport with the pupils and staff.

"It's very important to me to be able to support the Liverpool FC Foundation and give something back to the local community. Providing opportunities to young people is essential to help them to develop new skills and build confidence."

Mark Haig, Liverpool FC Foundation's head of operations, added: "Mamadou brings so much spirit, passion and commitment to his ambassador role and we are very proud to have him on board."
