The rise and rise of Luis Suarez...
Luis Suarez will return to his native South America in search of success at the 'Greatest Show on Earth' next month, having helped to fire Liverpool back into the Champions League throughout 2013-14.
Suarez made a clean sweep of the player awards in England for his exploits during a campaign where the forward plundered 31 goals in 33 league games for Brendan Rodgers' Reds.
With the World Cup in Brazil less than a month away, all eyes turn to the 27-year-old, who will lock horns with five of his Liverpool teammates as La Celeste meet England in the group stage of the competition.
In the third part of LFC TV's exclusive 'World Stars' series, Suarez looks ahead to Brazil 2014 and explains how he is relishing the opportunity to shine at the tournament, especially given the battle his side faced in qualifying.
"Uruguayans have never had anything easy," said Suarez. "So they have this hunger - this desire to prevail and reach for the sky and in the last two World Cups we have done quite well, so we must enjoy the experience because we suffered a lot to get to Brazil."
'World Stars' launches on Thursday night at 8pm on LFC TV, with three back-to-back broadcasts, focusing first on Daniel Sturridge, then Steven Gerrard before concluding for the evening with Suarez's episode.
