Liverpool Ladies play their final Women's Super League game of the season on Sunday afternoon when they host Bristol Academy - and with hopes of retaining their title still alive, they require your support.

Matt Beard's reigning champions are currently in third place with one round of matches left to play, trailing leaders Chelsea by three points and on goal difference, and behind Birmingham City by a single point.

Victory is therefore an absolute necessity at the Select Security Stadium in Widnes, where kick-off is at 2pm BST and a special offer for tickets means access to the ground is available for just £1, online or at the turnstiles.

Should the Ladies sign off with a win, they will then need results to fall in their favour elsewhere in the division on a final day that guarantees drama. And, with success still mathematically possible, Beard is refusing to give up.

The manager said: "It's out of our hands now so all we can do is win our game and hope Notts County and Manchester City do us a favour. If they do that then it's happy days.

"If they don't then we know it has been a tough season with regards to the injuries we have had, and I have learned from that and we'll address that in the close season. But hopefully we can continue to progress in the Champions League and there's plenty of football to play.

"For now we've put the Champions League situation right out of our minds and we are totally focused on beating Bristol. We beat them on the last day of last season to win the league, and it would be fantastic if we could do it again."
