Liverpool FC Foundation College are on the lookout for the next batch of talented male youngsters to begin their studying and training in September 2015, with open events scheduled over the coming weeks.

On Monday January 26, there will be sessions for potential Year 11 intakes from 4pm to 6pm at Wyncote Sports Ground on Mather Avenue in Allerton.

Then, at the same venue during the schools' half-term, on February 16 between 10pm and 12pm and on February 17 between 1pm and 3pm, open events will also take place.

The college, which is open to boys and girls aged between 16 and 19, provides coaching alongside a suite of academic qualifications, including BTEC Levels 2 and 3 and GCSEs in Maths and English.

Based in the south of the city, the organisation is equipped with top-of-the-range facilities supplied by the University of Liverpool.

Recently, 10 students have secured places at universities, four gained sought-after US scholarships, three sealed professional contracts and no less than 20 were employed as LFC Foundation coaches and Youth Ambassadors on matchdays at Anfield.

The college was crowned national champions in 2012 and reached the final of the Dallas Cup in 2014 - a tournament they will participate in once again this year.
