Liverpool FC are delighted to announce that former midfielder Terry McDermott will conduct his first ever legends tour of Anfield next week.

To mark the occasion, every fan that books onto his tour taking place on Monday February 9 will be automatically entered into a prize draw to claim free entry, with McDermott himself drawing the lucky winner on the Kop on the day.

A truly complete player in the centre of the park, the man from Kirkby made 329 appearances for the Reds, scored 81 goals and lifted 10 major trophies in eight years at the club.

McDermott patrolled every area of the pitch in his heyday, with a remarkable source of energy allowing him to excel at either end - particularly in attacking the opposition box.

His strikes were often spectacular, not least a header past Tottenham Hotspur in September 1978 that completed a flowing team move and sealed an incredible 7-0 win at Anfield.

Now on February 9, one day before the Reds' next home meeting with the London outfit, fans have an opportunity to tour the world-famous stadium alongside McDermott.

He will pose for photographs and share stories from the past as you take a behind-the-scenes look at the home dressing room, manager's dugout, 'This is Anfield' sign and much more.

The 63-year-old will also return to take supporters around the ground in style on Saturday April 11, ahead of Liverpool's clash with Newcastle United, another of his former clubs.
