Liverpool FC will show its support for match officials across the country by backing 'reFspect' - an initiative aimed at improving the behaviour of parents and spectators - on the weekend of March 13.

'Don't X the Line' campaign has teamed up with the Football Association and other professional bodies to help raise awareness and eliminate problems experienced by referees at all levels of the game.

By reducing the number of incidents of poor touchline behaviour, particularly at grassroots level, 'reFspect' hopes to maintain the current number of referees and help to attract more.

'Don't X the Line' was established in 2003 by Malcolm Lee and over the years, the campaign has worked with a host of Barclays Premier League clubs, supported by the FA, the Premier League itself, the Professional Footballers Association and the League Management Committee.

This year, with Liverpool's backing, they are looking for fans to get behind the 'reFspect' campaign by signing up to show support. You can do so now by clicking here or calling 07951 442 480.
