Coutinho scoops Goal of the Month award
Philippe Coutinho's magnificent strike in the 2-0 win at Southampton has been voted by fans as Liverpool's Goal of the Month for February, in association with EA SPORTS.
With just three minutes on the clock at St Mary's, the Brazilian ace fired the sweetest of shots into the top corner of the net to leave Fraser Forster grasping at thin air.
Unsurprisingly, the goal was the overwhelming favourite as it picked up 85 per cent of the votes in our online supporters' poll to take the monthly accolade.
Liverpool's No.10 also hit a stunning late winner in the FA Cup replay with Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium - and that crucial effort finished runner-up with six per cent, while Raheem Sterling's strike in the same game came third with three per cent.
Completing the top five in the results, whittled down from a 10-goal shortlist, Mario Balotelli's winner against Tottenham Hotspur was fourth while Lazar Markovic's strike in the same game came fifth.
