Gary McAllister wrote himself into Merseyside derby folklore on this day 14 years ago when he netted a dramatic stoppage-time winner at Goodison Park - relive that moment for free now.

Having twice taken the lead through goals from Emile Heskey and Markus Babbel, the Reds were pegged back on both occasions as Duncan Ferguson and David Unsworth struck for the Toffees.

Robbie Fowler missed a penalty and Igor Biscan saw red, before deep into added time McAllister, the man brought in at the start of the season on a free transfer and who played such an influential role in that treble-winning season, took the opportunity to write his own piece of Liverpool history by beating Paul Gerrard in the Everton goal from long distance with a perfectly-executed free-kick.

To mark the occasion, watch an excerpt from LFCTV GO's special documentary on McAllister, 'Oh, We Love Your Baldy Head', in which Reds stars from past and present - including the man himself - comment on that incredible strike.
