All Barclays Premier League and Football League fixtures this weekend will observe a pre-match minute's silence to mark the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Bradford City fire disaster.

Due to the events that unfolded on May 11, 1985 at Valley Parade, 56 supporters tragically lost their lives and hundreds more spectators suffered injury.

As Bradford prepare to play their final home game of the season today, Liverpool will join the Premier League and its teams in paying respects to those affected by that day.

The Premier League is also fundraising for the League One club's chosen charity - the Bradford University Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit.

Its existence stands as a lasting memorial and living legacy of the disaster, and depends entirely on public donations for its continued survival.

Donations made through bucket collections at top-flight grounds across the commemorative weekend will be matched by the Premier League.

If you would like to make a donation to the appeal, please click here or do so via text message using the number 70070 and code VPFA56.

For example, if you wanted to donate £5, you would text VPFA56 5 to 70070. For £10, your text would be VPFA56 10 and so on.
