Today kicks off the start of two brand new features on LFCTV GO, both of which are completely free to watch.

'The Liverpool Week' casts an eye back at some of the significant dates in the club's history, whilst also previewing what's coming up over the next few days as the Reds prepare to face Stoke City on Sunday.

In the first edition, we take a look back at Terry McDermott's winning goal in the 1980 Charity Shield against West Ham United at Wembley, note the arrival of Michael Robinson to the club in 1983 and feature Steven Gerrard's 150th Liverpool goal in Brendan Rodgers' first home game in charge of the club.

Also making its debut today is the LFCTV GO 'Goal of the Day' - a new daily feature in which we'll be delving into the vaults to bring you a notable strike from history.

As we're preparing for the start of a brand new season, all week we'll be showcasing some opening-day goals - and we start in 2001 with a typically clinical finish from Michael Owen.

Having ended the 2000-01 treble-season on a high with his match-winning performance in the FA Cup final, Owen had started the new campaign in goalscoring form with a hat-trick against FC Haka in the Champions League qualification rounds before bagging the winner against Manchester United in the Charity Shield in Cardiff.
