GOTD: Heskey lobs Kirkland at the Kop
On this day in 2000, Emile Heskey executed the most perfect lob at the Kop end - and you can watch the strike again for free with Goal of the Day.
After picking up a misplaced clearance, the England international chested the ball down and then lobbed the ball over the advancing Coventry City goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and into the back of the net.
It was Heskey's second goal in the space of five minutes and it rounded off a brilliant Liverpool display as Coventry were swept aside 4-1.
