Lucas, Coutinho and Firmino dine with Reds fans for charity
Four lucky Liverpool fans were presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity last week – to dine in the company of Lucas Leiva, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, and raise funds for the LFC Foundation in the process.
The Reds trio sat down for an authentic Brazilian meal at Fazenda Liverpool with Kopite Harinder Singh and three of his friends after his bid of £4,400 was enough to secure the prize in a special online auction, with all funds going to the club’s official charity.
The dinner was one of several incredible experiences that went under the virtual hammer to celebrate the launch of the inaugural LFC Foundation Day late last year.
In total, the initiative raised over £46,800, with all monies supporting the Foundation’s community programmes, including its men’s health programme, military veterans programme, and football development programmes such as Respect 4 All, which provides sporting activity for young people and adults with severe physical and neurological impairments.
