Liverpool will learn their Europa League quarter-final opponents when the draw is made in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday at 12pm GMT.

Jürgen Klopp's charges beat arch-rivals Manchester United in their Round of 16 tie to reach the last eight of the competition.

The quarter-final pairings are determined by an open draw – so no teams are seeded and clubs from the same country can be drawn against each other.

Here are the sides the Reds could face...

  • Athletic Club (ESP)
  • Braga (POR)
  • Borussia Dortmund (GER)
  • Sevilla (ESP)
  • Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR)
  • Sparta Praha (CZE)
  • Villarreal (ESP)

The team drawn first will play the first leg at home, and the ties will be played on Thursday April 7 and Thursday April 14.
