Coutinho magic at Old Trafford named March's best goal
Philippe Coutinho's brilliant individual goal against Manchester United in the Europa League clash at Old Trafford has been voted by fans as Liverpool's EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for March.
The Brazilian's strike had the travelling Kop purring with delight when he evaded right-back Guillermo Varela with ease down the left flank, before nonchalantly flicking the ball over David de Gea and into the back of the net.
His piece of magic was the overwhelming favourite in our online poll, as the effort picked up 73 per cent of the total votes cast.
Coutinho also took the runner-up spot for his accurate curler during the 3-2 defeat at Southampton last time out.
Adam Lallana's long-range finish against Manchester City came in third place while in fourth spot was Roberto Firmino's Kop-end strike against United in the Europa League.
Firmino's clinical conversion in the 3-0 win over City at Anfield came in fifth.
