No.5: Alonso and Garcia make Kop bow
We now head back to September 2004 and the Anfield debuts of Spanish duo Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia.
After making their debuts in the 1-0 defeat by Bolton Wanderers, Kopites couldn't wait to see this Spanish duo for the first time on home turf and they certainly didn't disappoint.
With Alonso spraying the ball about at a whole new level not seen since the days of Jan Molby, supporters knew this was a special talent.
Garcia was a constant menace and produced some great flicks and tricks.
Steven Gerrard fired the Reds into the lead and Steve Finnan doubled the advantage with a brilliant strike in front of the Kop.
Garcia then ensured it was a dream home debut when he made it 3-0 on the hour mark.
