Can named in Germany's initial squad for Euro 2016
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has been included in Germany's provisional squad for Euro 2016.
Joachim Low named a 27-man group this afternoon and selected the Reds’ No.23 among eight nominated defenders.
Germany kick off their Group C campaign in France against Ukraine on June 12 before facing Poland and then Northern Ireland.
Can has made 48 appearances at club level this season and scored twice.
