Liverpool scored some outstanding goals in 2015-16 - we're sure you've tried to recreate a few of them - but which was our panel's pick of the bunch?

NK: Christian Benteke's brilliant overhead kick at Old Trafford was just stunning to watch.

DD: Dejan Lovren versus Borussia Dortmund. Whatever has happened in his short Liverpool career, and whatever happens in the future, he scored a goal that will be remembered alongside seminal European goals by Steven Gerrard, Luis Garcia, David Fairclough et al.

MR: Philippe Coutinho's direct run into the box, acceleration of feet and then wondrous chip of David de Gea at his near post was utterly special. The opponents, the venue, the fact it sucked all of the fight out of Manchester United and confirmed Liverpool as the first team to eliminate their fierce rivals from European competition added to its magic.

JA: Philippe Coutinho v Manchester United. It was a special goal and we knew then we were about to put one over United and knock them out of Europe.

JP: There were some belters but I will go for Coutinho's strike at Old Trafford. The sheer quality of the goal and the timing of it when Liverpool were in desperate need of inspiration. In terms of pure technique you would have to give a special mention to Christian Benteke's goal at Old Trafford. I know Liverpool lost the game but in terms of the technique of Benteke's goal, it was absolutely magnificent.

GR: For the sheer impudence of it, and how important it was, I'm going for Philippe Coutinho at Old Trafford in the Europa League. So often down the years we have witnessed Liverpool players freeze on this stage. So to see our little Brazilian sit down one of the best goalkeepers in the world before finishing in such an arrogant manner was a joy to behold. A goal guaranteed to make any Red smile. And a goal guaranteed to make any Manchester United fan seethe. Perfect.

DK: Such a shame it did not get the trophy it deserved but Daniel Sturridge against Sevilla in the Europa League final gets the vote. A moment of genius, a strike that showcased his talent. He has had such a dreadful spell with injuries you can forget how good he is sometimes, but that was a stunning reminder of his ability.

CB: Philippe Coutinho against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Hopefully the little Brazilian will do it more often on the road next season.

SH: Philippe Coutinho v Manchester United at Old Trafford. A truly magnificent goal from a big talent and we knew then there was no way back for Manchester United.

DF: There were so many contenders but Philippe Coutinho's goal at Old Trafford was brilliant. It came at a time when we were desperate for a lift and it came at an unexpected moment, I think. Scoring just before half-time was crucial to way the tie was going to go, and to beat a goalkeeper like David de Gea the way he did from such a tight angle was very impressive.

RE: Daniel Sturridge v Sevilla in the Europa League final. I know it was sadly a disappointing night in the end for us and unfortunately it didn't bring us any awards, but I loved Daniel's goal. It showed the sheer class the man has got and we hope to see more of that next season.

JG: Purely aesthetically it has to be Christian Benteke at Old Trafford. An absolutely amazing strike at a low point of the season.

AK: Dejan Lovren v Borussia Dortmund. We were jumping for joy when that goal went in. It was a fantastic cross from James Milner and Lovren did the rest. It brought a big reassurance to everybody that night how we can compete. Dortmund for me are one of the top teams in Europe and to beat them was very special.
