Emre and Germany held by Poland
There was frustration for Emre Can on Thursday evening as he watched on from the bench while Germany were held to a 0-0 draw by Poland at Euro 2016.
Joachim Low's side could only add a point to the three they collected by defeating Ukraine on Sunday, as they played out a stalemate with their near rivals in Paris.
Can did not emerge from the substitutes' bench and awaits his first appearance in the European Championship this summer.
Despite the draw, the world champions remain top of Group C with two games played, but they won't have their place in the knockout stages confirmed until after they round off their group-stage campaign against Northern Ireland.
