By Luke Kukchstein, Arsenal fan

What are your feelings ahead of the new season?

Mixed feelings really. I think we have as strong a squad (bar centre-backs) as we have had in years, but with some of the big signings coming in to our opposition the margin for error is going to be tiny this season so it might be a struggle for us without a bit of strengthening.

Are you satisfied with your club’s transfer business?

Yes and no. I think we have brought in some awesome players, but any Arsenal fan that says we don’t need at the very least another centre-back is kidding themselves. Let’s face it, we all want another forward as well.

How is your team likely to line up?

I don’t think a lot will change from last season really, unless something big happens up top. The only major change as it stands will be Xhaka as a starter. If we sign a new striker that could change our set-up depending on who it is. Likewise, if we sign another awesome winger I reckon Alexis will get some time up top.

Have you got the right man in charge?

I really don’t know, to be honest. I’ve been a big fan of Wenger ever since he started with the club and I genuinely think most of the flak he gets should be aimed elsewhere. But I reckon some new blood might do the team a bit of good too. Best case scenario, we can land some serious silverware this year and Wenger can retire on a high.

What do you expect from Liverpool this season?

Liverpool have got a good chance this year. Klopp is great at what he does and seems to have gotten a really positive response from the players. It’s going to be good to see what he can do with a full season and his new signings coming in.

If you could have one Liverpool player in your team, who would it be?

Can I say Klopp? But in all seriousness, a fit Daniel Sturridge is a real force to be reckoned with. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Top four (in order)?

United
City
Chelsea
Arsenal

Relegated?

Stoke (maybe?), Bournemouth, Spurs (fingers crossed)

Who will be the surprise package?

I think Middlesbrough could be a team to watch this season – they’ve made some great signings and look eager.

What is your one wish for the season?

Like I said above, I’d like to see Wenger win some serious silverware to relieve the fan pressure from his back. That’ll mean if he does want to retire, it’ll be on his terms. Or if wants to stay on, he can do so in peace. He deserves a lot better than he gets from a big chunk of our fanbase.
