With Liverpool's fixtures for August complete, it is now time for you to vote for the team's Standard Chartered Player of the Month.

The Reds started 2016-17 in fine style with a 4-3 win at Arsenal in an epic encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

Philippe Coutinho scored twice, including a magnificent free-kick, Sadio Mane enjoyed a debut to remember with an early contender for goal of the season and Adam Lallana was also on the mark.

A 2-0 reversal at Burnley followed before Jürgen Klopp's team bounced back to beat Burton Albion 5-0 in the EFL Cup second round, thanks to goals from Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge (2) and an own goal.

The month ended with a 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur when James Milner netted from the penalty spot.
