We now head back to August 1974 and a brilliant performance from Bob Paisley's Reds.
Following the great Bill Shankly was seen as an impossible task, but his trusty assistant Paisley proved early on that he could achieve greatness in his own right.
In this early-season fixture at the Bridge, Chelsea were sunk without trace as the Reds flourished.
Ray Kennedy netted the opener and Phil Boersma scored twice.
