"Barnes, Rush, Barnes, still John Barnes... Collymore closing in!!!"

Any Liverpool fan of a certain age will remember Martin Tyler's commentary, which was duly drowned out by a deafening roar from the Kop, when Stan Collymore settled one of the most remarkable and iconic games in Premier League history.

Both the Reds and Newcastle United were in pursuit of Manchester United at the top of the table when they met at Anfield in April 1996. Liverpool took an early lead through Robbie Fowler, before Les Ferdinand and David Ginola put the Magpies in charge.

Fowler equalised after half-time, only for Faustino Asprilla to restore Newcastle's advantage. However, Collymore levelled with 22 minutes remaining, before then snatching all three points with an unforgettable last-minute effort in front of a delirious Kop.
