Just one of the last 21 league meetings between Liverpool and United has ended in a draw.
That came at Anfield in October 2011, when Steven Gerrard marked his first start in six months by deceiving David de Gea with a free-kick at the Kop end before Javier Hernandez equalised to earn United a point.
