Can's delight after he put Liverpool three goals to the good in their 6-1 drubbing of Watford before the international break was there for all to see. 

It was the German midfielder's second goal in as many games after he also found the net at Crystal Palace a week earlier - and he has revealed to us that his towering header against the Hornets was the result of some hard work put in on the training ground.

Wijnaldum, meanwhile, has spoken about how he is drawing on past experiences as he hopes to play a part in keeping the Reds at the top of the Premier League.

"At PSV, I was playing for a team that has to be champions every year. That means there is a lot of pressure, but I like that pressure because it’s a pressure that you have to perform well every weekend," the Dutchman says.

Lucas Leiva is another Red who has previous when it comes to competing at the top end of the table, and the Brazilian has outlined his determination to help Liverpool continue their excellent form in the coming weeks.
