Jürgen Klopp has outlined his New Year's resolutions for Liverpool as they prepare to contest their final fixture of 2017.

The Reds will end the calendar with an Anfield clash with Leicester City on Saturday, before beginning 2018 with a trip to Turf Moor to tackle Burnley on January 1.

Asked in his pre-match press conference if he had any New Year's resolutions for the Reds – what he’d like to see more and less of in the next 12 months from his side – Klopp replied: “Scoring more, conceding less – easy, eh?!

“Even when I think we’ve played really well very often, I would like to say we can play more often at our best – and if we are not at our best, we still have to get results.

“These are a few things we are working on and, so far, it’s not too bad, but I think we have enough space to improve.”
