Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain produced perhaps the best performance of his Liverpool career so far in Sunday's 4-3 victory over Manchester City.

The midfielder was a constant influence on the thrilling Premier League contest and bagged the first of the afternoon’s seven strikes with a sublime surge forward and low finish across the goalkeeper.

He set up Roberto Firmino to restore the Reds’ lead in the second half, too, which prompted a remarkable nine-minute passage of play that saw the hosts create a three-goal advantage.
