There was a double birthday celebration at Melwood on Sunday as the Liverpool squad marked the occasion for Virgil van Dijk and John Achterberg.
The Reds defender returned to the West Derby base to begin pre-season training on the day he turned 27, alongside compatriot Georginio Wijnaldum.
As the second stage of their schedule concluded, the rest of the squad headed out for a recovery session after beating Chester FC 7-0 in a friendly on Saturday.
But not before gathering to sing 'Happy Birthday' to both Van Dijk and goalkeeping coach Achterberg. Watch the moment in the video above.
