Divock Origi: It was a huge win for us - we all enjoyed it
Divock Origi detailed his own and Liverpool’s immense satisfaction after the dramatic 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
The striker came off the bench to net a 94th-minute winner at Molineux, adding another to his long list of dramatic goals for the club.
The three points saw Jürgen Klopp’s Reds move ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League standings, with the Blues losing at West Ham United earlier on in the day.

Congratulations, another very, very important goal to add to your list...
Yeah, I would say we all enjoyed it a lot. It was a huge win for us. We wanted to keep the momentum going. We know that today is going to be a hard game defensively, as well as offensively. They were well organised but in the end we found the solution and that's what we do it for.
The key for this team – not just now but for so many seasons – is you just always keep believing...
Exactly. I think that ties in with the values of the club – keep believing, keep going. In the end you can only control the moment you are in and just try to make the right play every time again, even if you fail again and again. In the end, we are happy that we got the goal, even though it was a big late. We enjoyed it.
Can you put into words the emotions when you score a goal like that?
Winning games is all you work for. We try to work on the details during the week and we're together the whole season to try to get wins, obviously play well. In the end, getting that win, getting that goal is the best feeling and it keeps us also going [with] the momentum. Very happy.
What was the message from the manager when you came on? It meant Diogo dropped a bit deeper and the shape changed slightly...
I tried to stretch the defence and play my qualities. Whenever I get the ball, be strong and then try to go on the one-on-ones and create danger. For me, today it played out well. I tried to utilise the space as much as possible and obviously being able to score and help the team is the most important thing.
Obviously the key for you to score that winning goal is to keep the clean sheet, which against a team like Wolves is difficult...
One-hundred per cent. It was a huge challenge for us today. In the Premier League, every game is a huge battle. We were there, even when there were moments where it was going up and down, we controlled the game. In the end, offensively you try to score and then keep the clean sheet. I would say it's a successful day.
