Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the 2021-22 Champions League final.

The Reds progressed to a third appearance in the European showpiece in the last five seasons by seeing off Villarreal 3-2 (5-2 on aggregate) on Tuesday night.

Real then joined Jürgen Klopp’s side in the final by recording a 6-5 aggregate victory over Manchester City on Wednesday in Spain.

The decider will be held at the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday May 28, kick-off 8pm BST.

It will be the third meeting in the European Cup final between Liverpool and Real, with the Reds 1-0 winners in 1981 and beaten 3-1 in 2018.
