U21 Euros: Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott reach the final with England
Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott progressed to the final of the U21 European Championship with England on Wednesday evening.
Jones was named Player of the Match in the Young Lions' 3-0 win over Israel at Batumi Arena in Georgia, with his Liverpool teammate Elliott stepping off the bench for the final quarter of an hour.
Morgan Gibbs-White made amends for an earlier penalty miss by opening the scoring in minute 43, and Cole Palmer and Cameron Archer then clinched England's progression with second-half finishes.
Lee Carsley's side will now take on Spain in Saturday's showpiece.
