Liverpool Ladies have completed the signing of Swedish international striker Emma Lundh.

The forward, who won the Toppserien league and Norwegian Women’s Cup with Lillestrom SK last year, bolsters the Reds’ attacking options ahead of the upcoming FA Women’s Super League season.

Upon sealing the switch, Lundh said: “I am delighted to join Liverpool Ladies and I’m really looking forward to working alongside the players and Scott [Rogers].

“There is already a great squad of players here and I am confident that next season we will have a successful season.”

Ladies manager Rogers said: “This is another exciting acquisition for the club. Emma is a top-class Swedish international and I am confident that she can prove her undoubted quality in the WSL.

“Emma is a hard-working striker who will offer us a real goal threat and I am delighted to have signed her ahead of the 2016 season.”
