Liverpool and Arsenal could be rushed into bidding for Shakhtar striker Luiz Adriano next summer as Juventus consider offering the Brazilian a contract.

Adriano's current deal in Ukraine expires in January 2016, meaning he could agree a free transfer to a European club by this June at the earliest.

And according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Juve are scouring Europe for free transfers to bolster their squad in 2016.

The Turin club are already considering moves for Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto and Milan's Nigel de Jong, with Adriano also on their radar.

Shakhtar know their in-demand striker will likely be gone by this time next year and want to profit on a man signed for just £2million in 2007.

They succeeded in keeping hold of their frontman last month as Arsenal and Liverpool vied with Roma for his services but a £7.5m deal never materialised.
