Express: Reds get Lavezzi boost

Liverpool are back on alert for Ezequiel Lavezzi after his agent said a deal with Napoli is not a foregone conclusion.

The Argentinian's agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, has claimed that although Napoli has been discussed, it is by no means a done deal.

Earlier this week Lavezzi is said to have expressed interest in teaming up with fellow Argentine Gonzalo Higuain in Naples.

But Mazzoni has poured cold water on the rumours, saying, "Lavezzi has said nothing new," and the decision is not in his hands.
