Reds complete Caulker loan deal
Liverpool have a completed a loan deal for Queens Park Rangers defender Steven Caulker until the end of the season.
Injury problems meant Jurgen Klopp was left without a single senior centre-back for his side’s FA Cup third round clash with Exeter City, which they drew 2-2.
Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure are expected to return for the visit of Arsenal on Wednesday, but Klopp has moved to bolster his backline by bringing in Caulker, 24, until the end of the season.
The move is understood to have been finalised before midday on Tuesday, meaning that the former Tottenham and Cardiff defender will be eligible to face Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
