Liverpool have made Bayern Munich superstar Mario Gotze one of their major summer transfer targets, according to reports.

The Daily Telegraph says Bayern ace Gotze is a target, although the transfer would be difficult to pull off.

The paper says it would take all of Jurgen Klopp’s powers of pursuation to tempt Gotze into swapping Germany for England.

However, Bayern chiefs recently admitted the player’s future is uncertain and late last year Gotze hinted he’d love to work with Klopp again.

Gotze would cost about £37.6m to sign.
