Liverpool leading chase for Granit Xhaka

The 23-year-old recently admitted it was his childhood dream to play in the Premier League and clubs in England have taken note.

Liverpool are at the front of the queue, with manager Jurgen Klopp a big fan of the midfielder since his days at Borussia Dortmund.

And now, according to Bild, the Reds are preparing a bid for Xhaka this summer.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the Swiss international, as have Bayern Munich.

Monchengladbach, however, are very reluctant to part with their skipper and are likely to demand over £30m for his signature
