Reds make transfer enquiry for Niklas Sule
Liverpool have approached Hoffenheim over the possible transfer of Niklas Sule, according to reports in Germany.
Sule has made 53 appearances since making his debut for Hoffenheim in 2013 and is regarded as one of the most promising defenders in the Bundesliga.
Sport Bild say the Reds have enquired about the 20-year-old centre-back ahead of a potential move in the summer transfer window.
Roberto Firmino could convince his former teammate Sule to join him at Anfield after the pair spent two seasons together at Hoffenheim.
It’s understood Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring in defensive reinforcements at the end of the season ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
