Liverpool are reportedly interested in sealing the transfer of Valencia midfielder Daniel Parejo for around £8million.

The Spaniard has not been one of the team’s top performers this season, and was stripped of the captaincy by former manager Gary Neville, but Jürgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of his composed passing ability.

Parejo has spent his entire career in La Liga so far, aside from one season on loan with Queens Park Rangers in 2008/09.

According to Fichajes.net, the 26-year-old’s waning popularity with Valencia’s fans could see him move on in this summer’s transfer window.
