Mario Gotze has revealed he could make a decision on his future after Euro 2016 in France.

The German is considering leaving Bayern Munich after struggling for a regular starting place under Pep Guardiola this term.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move to bring the midfielder to Anfield in the summer, with Jürgen Klopp confident of signing him for between £15million and £20m.

Express Sport understands Gotze is keen to play again for Klopp, who first nurtured his talent at Borussia Dortmund, and he is also keen to move to Anfield.

And the World Cup winner has now revealed he has no schedule on when he will decide his future, admitting it could be sorted before or after the Euros.

“Right now, there are no talks,” he told Sport Bild. “Not with the club and not with Carlo Ancelotti.

“I don’t have a concrete schedule. I can’t say whether a decision about my future will be made before or after the European Championships.

“I know that for instance [Dortmund captain] Mats Hummels has said he wants clarity before the tournament, but Toni Kroos [in 2014] only made his decision [to join Real Madrid from Bayern] after the World Cup. Everything’s open.”

Gotze has also been linked with a move back to his former club Dortmund.
