Liverpool eyeing Edinson Cavani swoop
Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, with his entourage pushing for a move to the Premier League.
Cavani has scored 81 goals in 148 appearances for PSG since making his debut in 2013 but the 29-year-old is yet to sign a contract extension with the Ligue 1 giants.
TMW suggest representatives of the Uruguayan forward are keen for him to move to England, and some of his relatives have also requested he leaves the French capital.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic having played his last match for PSG, Cavani would likely be guaranteed more game-time at the Parc des Princes – but he is still mulling over a new deal.
Jurgen Klopp is keen on bringing in attacking reinforcements and it’s understood he could try and tempt Cavani to Anfield this summer.
