Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard to Liverpool, according to reports.

The German boss is ready to bring in a host of fresh talent during his first summer transfer window in charge of the club.

And according to Tribal Football, Klopp is interested in young midfielder Odegaard.

Odegaard attracted worldwide media attention when he made his international debut for Norway at 15, before completing a move to Real Madrid in 2015.

The 17-year-old has only made one appearance for Real's first team but was a regular for the reserves, Real Madrid Castilla, last season.

But the midfielder's agents are said to be looking at options for him to move elsewhere.

And Liverpool have reportedly made an enquiry over his availability and have asked to be kept informed of his plans.

Klopp has reportedly instructed the club to keep tabs on him in the hope of luring him to Anfield.

Liverpool previously tried to sign Odegaard in January but their attempts were rejected.

Odegaard has worked with Klopp in the past when the 49-year-old was at Borussia Dortmund.

Klopp gave Odegaard the opportunity to train with him when he was considering his future at Norwegian club Stromsgodset before he moved to Real.
