Liverpool are reportedly in talks to seal the transfer of highly-rated young Benfica forward Talisca Anderson.

The Reds look likely to make some changes up front this summer.

Sadio Mane has already been brought in from Southampton, but reports in Portugal now claim Liverpool are looking at Talisca as well.

The print edition of O Jogo suggests a deal could be close, with the Football Association receiving an application for a work permit for the Brazilian.

Talisca, 22, looks ideally suited to Liverpool’s style of play under Jurgen Klopp, as he has the versatility and intelligence to pose a similar kind of threat to fellow countryman Roberto Firmino.

The likes of Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with Talisca in the past.
