Goalkeeper trains with Liverpool ahead of potential move
Alex Manninger is training with Liverpool in the hope of earning a contract.
Veteran goalkeeper Manninger spent last season at German side Augsburg, making just two appearances.
But the 39-year-old could now be set for a move to Anfield as back-up goalkeeper.
Arsenal fans will remember Manninger after he served as understudy to David Seamann between 1997 and 2002.
The Austrian won the double with Arsenal in 1998 but spent most of his time at Highbury on the bench.
