Liverpool handed Georginio Wijnaldum fitness boost
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has returned to training ahead of Saturday's visit of West Brom.
Wijnaldum was forced to miss the goalless draw with Manchester United at Anfield on Monday due to a hamstring injury picked up on international duty.
The Dutchman limped out of the recent World Cup qualifying defeat to France on the hour mark clutching his right leg.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp admitted in the wake of the stalemate with United that his side had missed Wijnaldum, but gave no indication when he would be fit to return.
However, the £25m summer-signing from Newcastle, who had started every league game prior to Monday's game, was back in training on Wednesday.
Adam Lallana, who impressed against United after coming on for the final 30 minutes, also took part in the session but James Milner was missing after picking up a knock on Monday.
Defender Joe Gomez completed the full session as he steps up his bid to return injuries which have not seen him play since last October.
