Manchester United and Liverpool have reportedly both sent scouts to watch Bordeaux striker Malcom.
And he is Bordeaux's joint-second top scorer with four goals.
According to Bordeaux fan site Girondinfos, representatives from Man United and Liverpool were at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux to take a close look at Malcom.
Malcom lasted 78 minutes before being subbed off with an injury in the 3-0 defeat.
The Brazilian is understood to be under contract at Bordeaux to 2020.
Recently Malcom spoke of his desire to play Champions League football.
He said: "For me, it's not important which club and which championship I am in.
"I want to play for a big club, in the Champions League, and win it."
