Reds target Championship defender
Liverpool are reportedly hopeful of beating Tottenham and Manchester City to the signing of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim Jurgen Klopp will do anything to secure a deal.
City and Tottenham have both scouted the left-back this term.
But Klopp believes the defender could be Liverpool’s long-term solution at left-back.
Sessegnon has enjoyed a stunning breakthrough campaign at Fulham.
The 16-year-old has established himself as Slavisa Jokanovic's first-choice left-back.
The teenager has scored six goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this season. But Fulham are desperate to keep hold of the youngster.
And the chances of the Cottagers selling if they win promotion this year are slim.
Fulham currently sit seventh in the Championship table, two points adrift of the play-off spots.
