Reds make move for left-back target
Liverpool are back in for Hull City defender Andy Robertson, according to reports.
A report says the Anfield club have been tracking the 23-year-old for two seasons and came close to signing him last term.
Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon is said to have been Klopp's No.1 target and Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy was also on their shortlist.
But Sessegnon has since penned his first professional deal at Craven Cottage this week.
And Mendy is said to be nearing a move to Manchester City, prompting Liverpool to switch their attention to Robertson.
The Scotland international is expected to leave Hull this season following their relegation back to the Championship.
The full-back has made 115 appearances for the Tigers but began his career in Scotland with Celtic.
The Premiership champions released him as a teenager before he rejuvenated his career at Queen's Park and Dundee United.
He was named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year in the 2013-14 season.
