Roma director refuses to name price for Liverpool target
Roma's sporting director Monchi has reiterated that the club has no intention of selling Liverpool target Alisson this summer.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been reportedly indentified as Jurgen Klopp’s top priority this summer to finally solve the Reds’ issues in goal.
Roma director Monchi has reiterated their stance on Alisson’s future, however, insisting he will not be sold. "I am honestly a little tired of talking about Alisson’s future, as I get asked this in every interview now," he told Mediaset Premium.
"We have not received any offers and have no intention of selling. We are happy to have Alisson, we want to enjoy him. I don’t want to name a hypothetical price-tag for him, because when someone doesn’t want to sell, he doesn’t name a price."
Alisson will decide his future at the end of the campaign, before heading off to the World Cup. The 25-year-old is expected to be Brazil’s first-choice in Russia ahead of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson who has excelled in his first season in the Premier League.
