Roma to move for Alisson replacement
Roma are already making plans to replace Liverpool target Alisson Becker with Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp has already secured the signing of midfield anchorman Fabinho, as well as Naby Keita, and is expected to pursue Alisson who is valued at around £79million by the Serie A club.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested although the 25-year-old’s agent played down the suggestion earlier this week that a deal had already been agreed.
"The suggestion that he already has an agreement with Real Madrid is completely false," he told ForzaRoma.inf.
"Renewal? I have not talked to Monchi [Roma’s director of football] or anyone else yet."
Arsenal, too, are likely to be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer with Petr Cech having turned 36 last month and David Ospina having only one year remaining on his current contract.
The Gunners are said to have identified Leno and a potential new No.1 but are likely to face competition from Roma, according to Corriere dello Sport.
